Our design and build process incorporate the customer’s own ideas and specifications. Bassetlaw Garden Rooms use industry leading materials and construction methods to provide you with a garden room that can be used comfortably all year-round. The walls, roof and floors of our garden rooms are insulated using industry leading materials to help maintain a consistent temperature that is comfortable during both the summer and winter months.
Our ethos is to ‘make it easy’ for our customers, we ensure that the installation of your garden room, conservatory or solid conservatory roof system is as minimally intrusive to our customers as possible.
Dedicated Customer Care
Throughout your garden room project you will receive dedicated customer care, someone who will help organise and co-ordinate your garden room build. From helping make decisions on your options up to final sign off, our customer care team will be your point of contact, making the process seamless and hassle-free.

A seamless and hassle free garden room construction process
Introduction & Design
Our design and build process incorporate the customer’s own ideas and specifications.
We have an initial meetign with yourself to run through your ideas and requirements. This also gives us chance to measure up and run through possible features / options with you.
Our team will lay a solid foundation for the building to sit upon. The structure is made from timbers and 100 mm insulation for the construction and for the roof. We offer a choice of different coloured cladding, having either Cedar or uPVC.
Planning
Here at Bassetlaw Garden Rooms, planning permission is rarely required. We design and construct your garden building to avoid the need for planning permission, but should the need arise, were on hand to advise and guide you through the whole process.
Depending on the area that you live in and local council rules, you can generally have a garden building built on your property completely hassle free.
Construction
We construct the panels of your garden office on our own premises ready to assemble at your site, this allows us to be efficient with the time needed in your garden and minimal disruption.
Depending on the size of your garden room, our construction methods allow us to build as close as possible to any solid obstacle, such as a wall or fence. For garden office buildings that are 15m² or less, we can build as close as 400mm. For a garden office building that is over 15m² we can build as close as 1m to a boundary.
Finishing
Once complete, we’ll run through our finishing touches.
Electrics will include sockets, spotlights and heating to your specification.
The walls and ceilings can be plastered making this outside space a home from home.
The exterior of the Garden Room can also be designed to complement the garden with outside lighting and decking features, sliding bi-folding doors and windows in a choice of colours. See materials and options
